Hiermee bepaald u de positie van uw linker oog boven de bal. Ten tweede loopt de rand van de putting tutor iets af. U kunt uw putter hier tegen aan zetten om voor een rechte impact te zorgen. De feedback komt vervolgens van de ballijn. Als u onverhoopt toch niet recht geraakt heeft zal de bal van de lijnafgaan en een van de kogeltjes van het bordje af laten rollen. De T-Performer is een erg onderschat trainingsmiddel. Oplijnen is essentieel als u uw score wilt laten zakken. Dwing uzelf om oefenrondjes te lopen en bij elke slag de T-performer te gebruiken. U merkt dat u in 9 van de 10 keer u stand moet aanpassen. De grote kracht van de constructie is de compactheid en de materiaal keuze. Alternatieve zijn vaak groot en lastig. Zelf maken moet je soms gewoon niet willen, het wordt het net niet.

The Rail is een smalle metalen staaf die van breed naar smal verloopt. U put de bal over de rail. Als u geen recht balcontact heeft zal de bal van de rail afrollen. De moeilijkheidsfactor is in te stellen door van breed naar smal te werken. De rail is ook thuis prima bruikbaar, bijvoorbeeld in combinatie met de perfecta put. Padraig Harrington heeft veel getraind met de rail. Specifiek bedoeld om puts van 1,5 meter te trainen.
